I am taking a momentary pause in my Super Bowl celebration to participate in World Nutella Day, brought to us by Shelly (At Home in Rome) and Sara (Ms. Adventures in Italy).I love hot chocolate, I love Nutella. What could be more tasty than combining the two for a simple yet delicious treat? The best part is that this is a bad-cook-friendly recipe, it is really hard to mess up!
-----------------------------------------
Nutella Hot Chocolate
3 tablespoons nutella
1 1/3 cups milk
(single serving)
-Place Nutella and 1/3 cup of milk into a small saucepan, over medium heat.
-Whisk until blended thoroughly
-Add remaining milk, increase heat to medium-high, and whisk until hot and frothy.
Add whipped cream, marshmallows or drink as is. Guaranteed to warm you up on a chilly winter day.
--------------------------------------
In honor of this special day, I will be taking my jar of Nutella out for a romantic dinner. Then we will be heading to Faenza where (on Tuesday nights) we can watch a movie in English (tonight's movie is a Good Year with Russle Crow).
Wishing everyone a very happy World Nutella Day!
